Hi there! I'm Alex. Theatre director, assistant director, intimacy director, acting teacher, creative kid-at-heart.

I tell adventurous, challenging, socially conciencious stories from a queer, feminist perspective. Music is an essential part of my work, whether I'm developing a musical or crafting a pre-show playlist. In 2025, I founded T. Regina Theatre Co.*

I have directed & produced four productions under T. Regina: Scenes with girls by Miriam Battye (Golden Goose Theatre), My Name is Rachel Corrie by Rachel Corrie, Alan Rickman, and Katherine Viner (Palestine House & Etcetera Theatre), and Late, A Cowboy Song by Sarah Ruhl (Hen and Chickens Theatre, Fringe Theatre Award WINNER), and the London premiere of Something Clean by Selina Fillinger (Lion & Unicorn Theatre).

Other recent credits include Merchant of Venice 1936 (Trafalgar Theatre, West End, Assistant Director), Midnight in Nashville by Lee Papa (The Glitch/Lower Marsh Arts Club), Gruesome Playground Injuries by Rajiv Josephs (Golden Goose Theatre), Julia Caeser and Macbeth (East 15 Acting School, Southend-on-Sea). I am also the creator of Out There and the co-creator of Poetry and Prose, two original musicals.

Originally from Wenatchee, WA, my theatrical adventures have taken me to all over the world. I hold an MFA in Theatre Directing from East 15 Acting School, where I am now an acting tutor on several BA courses. As an intimacy professional, I have trained with Intimacy Directors and Coordinators (IDC) and Theatrical Intimacy Education (TIE). I am committed to using antiracist, consent based, and trauma-informed practices in my rehearsals and classrooms.

When not in rehearsal or teaching, you can find me wandering bookstores, dreaming up a globetrotting adventure, or trying to snuggle with your cat.Free Palestine.
